Li Yuan is an R&D Engineer and Developer Relations Lead at MiniMax. He graduated from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and has extensive experience in algorithm engineering at leading internet companies, with a long-standing focus on applying AI technologies to efficiency-driven scenarios. Since joining MiniMax in 2023, he has been deeply involved in the development of key products including Hoshino, MiniMax Agent, and the company’s internal “Intern” project. He led early iterations and optimizations of the Agent product, laying a solid foundation for Agent 2.0, and has actively promoted the open-source of large models and the MiniMax Agent ecosystem. He oversees the end-to-end open-source launch of MiniMax M2.5, which generated tens of thousands of developer applications on its first day. Beyond building the MiniMax developer ecosystem, he shares cutting-edge technical insights through his social media account “Your Yuan AI,” actively advancing the adoption and development of AI technologies across the industry.
