PIKE-RAG: Exploring Best Practices in Private Knowledge Management

Introduction: In today’s rapidly evolving digital era, private knowledge management faces unprecedented challenges. The core idea of PIKE-RAG is to encourage fact-based reasoning (grounded reasoning), reducing reliance on direct knowledge memorization and significantly improving the model’s ability to follow contextual cues. This means that even when faced with entirely new knowledge domains, the system can quickly learn and respond accurately. Moreover, PIKE-RAG incorporates a continuous, autonomous data governance module. This module constantly detects and filters outdated knowledge and experiences, ensuring the model always has access to the latest training data, maintaining the timeliness and accuracy of its knowledge.
