After graduating from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2011, he joined NetEase Youdao, where he has worked ever since. He has led algorithm development across a range of areas, including advertising recommendation, OCR/ASR/TTS, image and document translation, and intelligent learning, and holds more than 40 patents. He was one of the key founders of Youdao AI's computer vision and speech algorithm teams, as well as the Youdao Zhiyun team. He also played a leading role in launching several major Youdao businesses and products, including the Youdao Dictionary Pen, Youdao Smart Learning Lamp, and Youdao Zhiyun. Currently, he leads R&D and productization efforts in vision-language multimodal models and Agent technologies. He initiated Youdao QAnything and Youdao Youju.
